Pastoral Assistance for Adolescent Gadget and Internet Users in the Waldensian Seventh-day Adventist Church

The aim of this research is to obtain data regarding Pastoral Assistance for Adolescent Gadget and Internet Users in the Waldensian Seventh-day Adventist Church. The type of research used is literature study. The literature study method is a series of activities related to methods of collecting library data, reading and taking notes, and managing research materials (Zed, 2008). Literature study is a required activity in research, especially academic research whose main aim is to develop theoretical aspects as well as aspects of practical benefit. Research results show that to overcome the lack of interest of teenagers in church worship, it is important for churches and pastors to understand the perspectives and needs of teenagers, and to create an inclusive, relevant and empowering environment for them. This can involve creating engaging programs and activities, listening empathetically to their concerns and questions, and building strong relationships between youth and the church community.

This research aims to obtain empirical data regarding the relationship between the level of mastery of engineering mechanics and student learning achievement in hydraulics courses in the Civil Engineering study program, Faculty of Engineering, Unima. This research research is classified as a descriptive method which is correlational because the aim is to detect the extent of the relationship between the level of mastery of engineering mechanics and student learning achievement in hydraulics courses. The technique used in data collection is documentation technique. The population in the research is all Civil Engineering students with a total of 22 people from the class of 2019 to the class of 2022. The results of the research show that testing the hypothesis obtained a correlation coefficient of r = 0.322 and determination r2 = 0.1103. These results indicate that 11.03% of the variation that occurs in learning achievement in the Hydraulics course is influenced by mastery of engineering mechanics. The magnitude of this qualitative determining power can be said to be still lacking, because students' learning achievement in hydraulics courses is influenced by the level of mastery of engineering mechanics by 11.03% while the remaining 88.97% is determined by other factors..

A teacher needs to pay attention at the media to use as a text message. The harmony of the message’s use of media is important to a teacher’s attention the purpose of the study is to know the creation of educational communications message during the covid-19 pandemic to analyze the relevant media used to communicate communications, education during the covid-19 pandemic and to explain the inportance of the deploymentof educational communication message during the covid-19 pandemic. The method use in this study are qualitative methods with case studies, using constructive paradigms, and using tee drafts of message Alan H Monroe and Cassandra. The object of this study is the process of creating educational communication message, the research subject is teachers who are capable of math, physics, chemistry, and students, selection of informants uses a purposive sampling technigue, data collection involves interviews, documenting, and literature studies whereas the chek of validity of data by triangulation source. People with disabilities have not been given a proper place in church stewardship. Marginalization of people with disabilities can be caused by stigmatization of their abilities. This paper intends to explain the congregation's understanding of people with disabilities and how the church empowers people with disabilities and Church management is needed in terms of services to achieve the set goals, therefore management must exist and be made as well as possible to be implemented. This study discusses the comparison of news strategies related to Bjorka in bilingual news on online news media, namely Tempo.co, Viva.co.id, Liputan6.com, Antaranews.com, and Indonesiawindow.com, which are translated from Indonesian as the source language into English as the target language. This study aims to see whether there are differences in the application of van Leuween's theoretical model of exclusion and inclusion in Indonesian and English news. Van Leuween's theory is used in critical discourse analysis to see how actors are portrayed in the news. This research uses a descriptive qualitative method with a linguistic corpus analysis approach to obtain a parallel corpus, so that the news in both languages can be compared in parallel. The results of this study found exclusion and inclusion strategies in the texts of both languages, as well as some changes in reporting strategies caused by the translation process from Indonesian news to English news.

God's love for humans from the beginning He created until humans fell into sin has never changed. Humans are the only creation created in the image and likeness of God, humans are given the place to preserve and rule over everything that has been created by God. But human actions full of pride ultimately lead them to fall into sin. Every action has consequences and they must be able to take responsibility. God indeed punished them for violating commands that He had forbidden. But in the text of Genesis 3:1-24, God's love for humans is clearly illustrated. The purpose of this research is so that we will be more aware that God's love is true love that He gave not only to Adam and Eve but to this day. Even though sometimes consciously or unconsciously we commit many sins against Him. But no matter how big the sin we commit, it is certainly greater than God's love for all of His creation.

Humans have a need for mental survival. Often this mentality also influences a person's spiritual level. In responding to this need, science developed a study of the human psyche or psychology. However, the psychological approach does not touch the essence of a person's spirituality. The church exists to correct mental disorders that occur through shepherding or pastoral care. So in the field of theology, there is a study on pastoral counseling. This research uses a qualitative method with an interview and observation approach. Researchers will look at the role of clergy in understanding and implementing pastoral care at GMIM Tumou Tou Kendis. The results of this research show that clergy understand pastoral counseling as a pastoral activity as traditionally taught by the church. Then the clergy also carry out their pastoral roles intensively and on a schedule. From these two findings, it is necessary to maintain the intensity of pastoral care at GMIM Tumou Tou Kendis and develop an understanding of the nature of contemporary pastoral counseling.
