Abstract

This research is a Classroom Action Research (CAR), which is a cyclical research that aims to improve the quality of classroom learning in a sustainable manner (Maksum, 2012). Therefore, in order to improve the quality of shooting learning in basketball games using the CAR design. The object of this research is the skill of shooting in basketball learning through the Jigsaw cooperative model for class XI students of SMA 15 Kilmury. The research entitled Improving Basketball Shooting Learning Outcomes Through the Application of the Jigsaw Cooperative Model, which was carried out at SMA 15 Kilmury. Based on the results of classroom action research on basketball subjects, Shooting material using the Jigsaw cooperative model can improve student learning outcomes, this is evidenced by the results of student learning in cycle I, the average achievement of student learning outcomes is 26% in the qualification of not yet complete. While in cycle II the average achievement of student learning outcomes is 100% in the qualification of complete. So that students can be said to be successful because many students get scores above the minimum completion score and have reached the KKM. So the author concludes that the use of the Jigsaw type cooperative model in shooting material in basketball games can improve student learning outcomes. This can be proven by the results of the action research that has been carried out in cycle II so that the action hypothesis that has been submitted is accepted.
