(Studi Research and Development Pada Siswa Kelas VII SMP Negeri 1 Saketi)
Abstract
This study aimed to develop a short storybook as a bibliotherapy medium to enhance the self-awareness of 7th-grade students at SMP Negeri 1 Saketi. The study employed the Research and Development (R&D) method using the ADDIE model, which comprises five stages: analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. Data were collected through questionnaires, interviews, and a literature review. The results indicated that the students' self-awareness levels fell into the following categories: low (13%), moderate (68%), and high (19%). The developed short storybook received an average expert validation score of 84%, classifying it as "highly feasible." Limited trial results showed an increase in pre-test and post-test scores, with an average gain of 28.83%. Furthermore, student feedback on the product yielded an 83% feasibility rating, placing it in the "highly feasible" category. Based on these data, the short storybook is suitable for use as a bibliotherapy medium to enhance the self-awareness of 7th-grade students.
