Meningkatan Hasil Belajar Lempar Lembing Melalui Model Pembelajaran Teaching Games For Understanding (TGFU) Pada Siswa Kelas X SMA Negeri 5 Seram Bagian Timur
Abstract
This study aims to examine the improvement of javelin throwing learning outcomes through the Teaching Games for Understanding (TGfU) learning model among Grade X students at SMA Negeri 5 East Seram. The study employs a classroom action research procedure conducted in cycles; each cycle consists of planning, implementation, observation, and reflection as the framework for the research stages. The results indicate that the analysis of basic javelin throwing techniques in Cycle I showed an average student score where 9 students (36%) achieved mastery, while 16 students (64%) did not. Improvements in basic javelin throwing techniques in Cycle II demonstrated significant progress; this is evident from the students' average scores and mastery levels, with 25 students—representing the entire class—achieving the Minimum Mastery Criteria (KKM). Based on a reflection of the collected data, the classroom action research results demonstrate that, by the end of the cycle, there was an improvement in the quality of learning regarding basic javelin throwing techniques.
