Penilaian Wilayah Bebas Korupsi (Wbk) dengan Terapan dan Hambatannya di Perguruan Tinggi
Abstract
The implementation of campuses that received an Integrity Zone (ZI) assessment, Corruption-Free Area and Clean and Serving Bureaucratic Area (WBK/WBBM) were corruption-free in practical terms for policy makers, lecturers, employees, and students. Its manipulative application tends to lead to the emergence of corrupt behavior which becomes an obstacle in higher education governance. So the purpose of this study is to examine the assessment of the WBK/WBBM Integrity Zone (ZI), and its implementation and obstacles in the Higher Education campus environment. This study uses an exploratory qualitative approach by conducting a literature review. The results of the study conclude, the application of ZI WBK requires a commitment to avoid conflicts of interest which are also obstacles due to power imbalances that cause the emergence of corrupt behavior in universities, especially in the realm of policy. As for the practical realm, nepotistic behavior and transactional patterns. Thus, it is suggested that one effective way to prevent corruption in universities is to facilitate access to information and open transparency
