Penerapan Metode Role Playing Untuk Meningkatkan Minat Belajar Siswa Kelas 4 Pada Mata Pelajaran Matematika

Abstract

Interest in learning is a feeling of preference and a sense of interest in something or activity, without being told. Interest in learning is basically the recipient of a relationship between oneself and something outside oneself. The purpose of this study was to determine the lack of student interest in learning. This study formulates the problem of what causes students' lack of interest in mathematics. The population of this study were all fourth grade students at the Wuwuk Public Elementary School. Data collection techniques using the interview method, as well as classroom action research. The results of this study indicate that there are some children who still do not like learning mathematics. In this case it is influenced by two factors, namely internal factors and external factors, while the internal factors that cause a lack of interest in children in learning mathematics are the lack of motivation from these students to learn mathematics so that they become lazy, while external factors that affect students' lack of interest are due to The role of technology that facilitates every activity, one of which is calculating using a calculator. From the results of this study it can be concluded that the lack of student interest in learning mathematics that is experienced by many third-grade students of the Wuwuk Public Elementary School is difficulty learning to read, while the factors that influence learning difficulties in reading can be classified into two factors, namely internal factors (from within student self) and external factors (from outside the student self).
