Mengimplementasikan Digital Storytelling untuk Menumbuhkan Keterampilan Menulis Siswa
Abstrak
Penelitian ini menguji keefektifan implementasi digital storytelling terhadap keterampilan menulis siswa melalui desain penelitian eksperimen semu. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, pre-test, dan post-test, dengan jumlah sampel 22 siswa baik di kelas eksperimen maupun kelas kontrol. Temuan menunjukkan bahwa siswa di kelas eksperimen yang dipaparkan dengan digital storytelling mencapai skor rata-rata yang lebih tinggi dibandingkan dengan kelas kontrol. Nilai rata-rata pretest di kelas eksperimen adalah 53,18, sedangkan di kelas kontrol adalah 48,55. Nilai rata-rata postes di kelas eksperimen adalah 72,91, sedangkan di kelas kontrol adalah 61,23. Analisis uji-t menunjukkan nilai tobservationsebesar 2.942, dengan derajat kebebasan (df) 42. Saat membandingkan nilai t hitung dengan nilai ttable pada tingkat signifikansi 5% dan 1%, hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa nilai t hitung (2,942) masing-masing lebih besar dari kedua nilai t kritis (1,682 dan 2,418). Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa penerapan digital storytelling memiliki dampak positif yang signifikan terhadap keterampilan menulis siswa.
