Analisis Makna Leksikal dan Tindak Tutur Ilokusi dalam Lirik Lagu Jiwaku Sekuntum Bunga Kemboja Karya Panji Sakti
Abstract
This study examines the lexical meaning and illocutionary acts in the lyrics of Panji
Sakti, which are filled with emotion and metaphor. This study uses a qualitative
descriptive approach and note-taking techniques to analyze each line of the lyrics
based on lexical categories such as metaphor, hyponymy, hypernymy, synonymy,
ambiguity, and collocation. In addition, the classification of illocutionary acts is
carried out based on Searle's theory. The findings show that metaphors dominate,
especially the image of the soul as a "flower" which symbolizes vulnerability and the
spiritual side. Collocation phrases such as "didera hujan" (rain) and "dihempas angin"
(wind) create images of trials, while ambiguity is seen in the expression "dicekam
cerita" (stranglehold on story). Hyponymy and hypernymy are found in "bunga
frangipani" (fringe flower) and "semesta" (semesta), while synonymy is found in the
word "mengingat" (remembering), which has the same meaning as "mengenang"
(reminiscent). The illocutionary analysis shows that assertive speech acts, expressive
in the context of love, longing, and spiritual devotion dominate, and there are also
commissive acts related to the commitment to remember. The combination of lexical
and illocutionary analysis shows the speaker's inner journey revealed through rich
language and pragmatic functions.
