Abstract

Kopi merupakan minuman yang digemari semua kalangan dan  merupakan minuman kedua yang paling banyak dikonsumsi di dunia. Kopi  rasanya enak dan mempunyai bau khas, tapi tidak diperbolehkan minum kopi lebih dari 2-3 cangkir  sehari, karena minum kopi terlalu banyak bisa menyebabkan masalah pencernaan. Karena  mengandung kafein. Kafein merupakan turunan dari senyawa alkoloid. Oleh karena itu, terlalu banyak kafein tidak diperbolehkan  karena dapat menyebabkan stimulasi, cemas dan susah tidur.  Metode penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian Literatur Review Artikel (LRA) dalam bentuk jurnal nasional dan internasional 10 tahun terakhir.Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui jumlah kafein pada minuman kopi dengan menggunakan metode UV-Vis dan HPLC, serta membandingkan sampel kopi yang dikumpulkan dengan metode spektrofotometri UV-Vis  dengan sampel kopi dengan metode HPLC. menemukannya lebih tinggi kandungan kopi. Urutan UV-Vis efisien dan memenuhi persyaratan FDA, sedangkan metode HPLC lebih sensitif dibandingkan spektrofotometri UV-Vis. Hal ini tercermin dari nilai LOD dan LOQ yang rendah.
